A Woven Garden is a project that analyzes and communicates the symbolism of Persian carpets.
Another world is hidden in the complex patterns. A castle garden enclosed by high powerful walls. Surrounded by red-flowered fields that contain protective powers. Islands covered with flower beds and tall flowering trees are located in the center of the garden. Together these elements create a woven paradise.
In order to communicate the story hidden in Persian carpets, I made a manual on how to assemble a carpet based on the symbolism and a life-sized print of the carpet.
